An article has been published in the scientific journal “Ecoscienza”, on the I-STORMS Project, stressing the need to establish early warning and prevention tools regarding storm surges, an increasingly widespread threat in the context of climate change, in the Adriatic-Ionian basin and highlighting the importance of increasing awareness and social involvement.
The authors of the article are: dr. Andrea Valentini and Ms. Alessandra De Savino from the Agency for Environmental Protection and Energy in Emilia-Romagna (ARPAE), Mr. Enrico Carraro (the Project’s Financial Manager) from the City of Venice, dr. Christian Ferrarin, dr. Francesca De Pascalis and dr. Michol Ghezzo from the National Research Council-Institute of Marine Sciences (CNR ISMAR Venice).
